9 tips for a better high

As a cannabis consumer, you naturally want to get the best out of your session. When you use cannabis
regularly, you may begin to build up a tolerance to THC, reducing the intensity of your high. But it can
also occur that the quality of your stash is lower than you’re used to. With cannabis there’s also a clear
limit when it comes to effectiveness. If you want a better high there’s no point in smoking more cannabis,
this often even backfires, but what can you do? Here are 9 tips to revive your high:

  1. Mangoes
Mangoes can boost your high and gives you a longer effect. The terpene Myrcene is found in both
mango and cannabis. This terpene is responsible for amplifying your cannabis high. Eat some
mango chunks about 45 minutes before you start your cannabis session. A mango can also be ideal
for when the munchies kick in as a healthy snack and for an enhanced effect.
  2. Edibles
THC is processed by your body very differently when you eat it than when you smoke it. It takes a little
longer before the effects become noticeable, but the effects also last a lot longer. In addition, the active
substances are sent from your stomach to the liver, which converts these substances into a more
powerful form. This makes dosing edibles a bit more difficult, so start in moderation and increase the
    dose slowly if necessary.
  3. Tolerance break
You build a tolerance to cannabis when you use it too much and too often. A tolerance break is a short
break from your regular cannabis use to give your body a break. Regularly breaking your smoking
pattern and giving your body some rest lowers your tolerance, allows you to experience more effects,
saves you money and saves your lungs. The longer the break, the better the effect. Of course you can
also start reducing your cannabis consumption or take a break for a few days.
  4. Movement
When you consume cannabis, some of the THC is stored in the fat in your body. As a result, you do not
really reach a maximum high. The less fat you have in your body, the less THC can be stored. When you
start moving after a session, the stored THC is released faster and you experience a better high. So go
for a walk outside or have a dance session in your living room.
  5. Tea
There are several types of antioxidants in green and black tea, including catechin. This substance binds
to the CB1 receptors in your brain. Which allows the sedative and anesthetic effects of the cannabinoids
in cannabis to work more efficiently. Giving you a strong, soothing body high.
  6. Storing
It’s important to store your cannabis properly. If you don’t do this, the quality and performance will
quickly deteriorate. It’s recommended to put your cannabis in a glass jar after purchase and store it in
a dark, cool place. When you store the cannabis in the plastic bag or container, the electrical
conductivity of the plastic speeds up the aging process. Is your weed a bit dry and crumbly? Then put
the peel of a citrus fruit in your stash for a few hours. This ensures better humidity and benefits the
    taste.
  7. Strains
When you always smoke the same strain, your body can get used to it. If you notice that the effect is
less than you’re used to, it’s not a bad idea to try a different strain. This doesn’t necessarily have to be
a stronger strain, you can also switch from an indica to a sativa strain. Even when you smoke a strain
with a lower THC content, you will notice the different effects.
  8. Vaporizer
Switching from smoking to vaping can take some getting used to at first, but it will allow you to get the
most out of your cannabis. You will no longer ingest harmful smoke and the vaporizer provides a
stronger and purer high. Another important advantage is that you need less cannabis than when rolling
    a joint.
  9. Nuts
Eat a handful of nuts during your munchies. Nuts not only contain good substances for your body but
also provide a better high. The fats in the nuts ensure that your body absorbs the substances in
cannabis faster and extends the duration of the effects.
